  • International travel is increasingly restricted. In the UK, different rules apply in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. For example, in England you must not leave home including to travel abroad, unless you have a legally permitted reason to do so, such as for essential work purposes – this isn’t correct. Needs to change to – You should follow the Covid rules where you live and to prevent new Covid variants from entering the UK, it is advised by the Government that you should not travel to countries on the red list. It is not illegal to travel to a country on the Amber list, however you should always refer to the advice of the FCDO. When you return, you must follow the rules to enter the UK from abroad.
