Hello, I am Vanessa or Ness to those that know me and a HUGE big welcome to my Personal Travel Agents website. I have worked in travel since 1987, beginning my journey in a small bucket shop in Brighton during the days of hand writing paper tickets, just before chalk and slate boards were abolished, and hours upon hours on the telephone, moving to a handful of well-known travel companies and now with 33 years’ experience in this fabulous industry I am a Personal Travel Agent with Co-operative Travel.

With this experience it’s a pleasure to pass on my knowledge and recommendations to my customers & over the years my lovely customers have now become friends and have followed me throughout my career, continuing to book their holidays with me, confirm holidays for their children and now their grandchildren.

I have been extremely lucky to have travelled to so many countries that it would be far easier to say where I haven’t been! I have so many favourites for different reasons but my amazing experience travelling from East to West of Canada on the famous VIA rail during February, would be one of my favourites. We arrived to frozen lakes, ice sculpted Niagara Falls, wolves, caribou and wintery creatures alongside the wooden wilderness railroad track.  Another favourite of mine was an incredible trip to Malaysia as a guest of a Tour Operator with visits to the private paradise island of Pangkor Laut, the breath taking scenery of Langkawi, the sights and smells and the pristine beachfront of beautiful Penang and then the highlight “the dance of the fire flies” trip and meeting the King & Queen of Malaysia at the Olympic Stadium in Kuala Lumpur.

Throughout my career in travel, I have always tried to put a little back either into the communities that tourism effects or closer to home.  I was honoured to help out in Kenya, building and painting classrooms and water wells for a local community and school, taking out classroom and sports equipment from wonderful sponsors and donators, also sponsoring the children at a local orphanage on our return and sent out regular school and clothing supplies. To continue work like this I actively support The Travel Foundation & when you book with me you will have the opportunity to make a donation to this fabulous charity too and help make a difference.

Midcounties have a wonderful membership programme, which if you are not already a member, you can join and earn points when you book your holiday through me but also means you support our community schemes which are always helping local projects. Obviously as I run my business with Midcounties Co-operative, a long-standing ethical brand, you are fully protected by ABTA and ATOL. I hope I have begun to build that picture of who I am, there is nothing I cannot help with, my motto has and always will be……. Never a problem…..always a pleasure……. Let me paint your perfect holiday.
