My last holiday was
Technically not a holiday but a work trip thats just to good to not share.... Australia, I flew out to Sydney via a stop in Singapore to refuel. On arrival I headed straight to Hunter Valley and a stay at the Hunter Valley Resort a lovely guy named Phil who runs the resort was on hand to offer his knowledge on the are and the wine, We did several Wine Tours and tasting a visit to Spicers restaurant which was incredible. Whilst in Hunter Valley I was lucky enough to do a hot air balloon ride over the many vineyards and golf courses, spotting lots of Kangaroos, and to catch sunrise followed by champagne breakfast. (stunning) Next I headed to Sydney for 2 nights of Exploring, a Surf lesson at Bondi Beach (Ill never make a surfer), A private tour of the world famous Opera House, an Evening Dinner cruise (the sights of the city from the water all alight at night is beautiful) and the rocks market for local treasures and lunch of Kangaroo and croc skewers (when in oz right) After Sydney I headed to the Sunshine coast and Coco Mooloolaba WHAT A TREAT I never knew existed but on my list of recommendations, the Beach, the Wharf, the Sunrise, I will be back.... Last stop was the Koala Sanctuary, an amazing place for rescued animals and their off spring I saw Kangaroos, just hoping around your feet happy to be fed, Koalas I HUGGED ONE he was 7kg heavier than I thought, Soft and was called Davis. Tasmanian devils, Crocs, Snakes and many more, From the Koala Sanctuary you can grab a $20 boat trip lasting 70 mins and head back to Brisbane, A cultural city the capital of queensland, I just had a night here so need to go back and see more..
