This year we decided to fulfil a promise to our kids and take them on a theme park holiday to Orlando, we'd never been to the USA before so there was lots to learn and understand. The rough plan was to have 14 days of theme park madness followed by 4 quiet beach days before flying home. I did a fair bit of Internet research and started getting some prices and at the some time had seen Sue Mackintosh, personal Travel agent on #Powyshour on Twitter. I like to shop local wherever possible so asked Sue if she could match the online quotes I'd received, and it comes fully ATOL protected. It was a weekend back in January when the pound had tumbled against the dollar and everyone seemed to be putting up prices overnight. Sue worked really hard over the weekend and not only matched but beat the Internet prices we had found. It was clear she was extremely knowledgeable and capable and put a really good package together which we booked. Between January and August I was probably a real nuisance as it was a place and type of holiday that we'd not previously been on and I had lots of questions, Sue was extremely efficient at answering everything usually within a couple of hours. Whilst staying in Manchester the night before flying about 8pm, I was unable to check in for out flight online, texted Sue who dealt with and resolved the problem immediately. Whilst we were away we had a few questions and a couple of issues, despite the time difference, Sue dealt with everything and totally resolved everything straight away. Sue was and is an absolute star, her service was totally professional, always speedy and reliable and second to none I have ever experienced before. I now totally get the concept of what a personal travel agent can offer over and above standard agents. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in highly recommending Sue to anyone thinking of booking a holiday.
