Panorama is a pleasant, purpose-built and pedestrianised village, with plenty of ski-in, ski-out accommodation. There are lots of quiet, tree-lined slopes for beginners and challenging back-country bowls for advanced skiers. It’s a mini-Whistler in the Rockies – the village at Panorama was even designed by the same company. At the base of the slopes, you’ll find the largest slope-side hot pools in Canada, and access is included with your accommodation. Off the slopes, there are some great snowmobile tours and also heli-skiing, not to mention a load of other winter activities you can try, including dog sledding and tubing - so no wonder it got voted North American Resort of the Year at the World Snow Awards in 2016. The ski school here is one of the best in Canada and because the slopes are always quiet, it’s a great place to learn.
