Utah is known for having ‘the greatest snow on Earth’ and Park City is the jewel in its crown. Last year it became the USA’s biggest ski area, following huge investment to connect it with 'The Canyons' ski area. Locally there is 3300 acres of world class skiing and now in the area, there is an enormous 7,300 acres of skiable terrain to play on, linked by a high-speed, 8-passenger gondola. On the local slopes, the terrain parks are among the best in the world and there are free Mountain Hosts available daily to show you around the mountain (not suitable for beginners). The mining town of Park City has an entertaining, historic main street comes complete with colourful clapboard shopfronts and has good après-ski scene with great bars plus a range of restaurants to suit all tastes.
