Lake District Lodge
So to kick start some of the great lodges here in the UK, I'm going to begin with a firm favourite a beautiful lodge in the stunning Lake District. Cornwall Gatehouse
If you're looking for the WOW factor then these Gatehouse lodges with elegant stonework, original features, and beautifully furnished interiors is for you. Featuring one double with ensuite shower, one twin with ensuite shower and one twin. Cosy lounge area, with an open plan kitchen diner within a bright, airy conservatory offering stunning views of the surrounding woodland. This luxury house also comes with a terrace and luxurious outdoor hot tub where you can relax the day away. Definitely one of my recommendations for a special getaway for a large family or groups who want to take in the beauty of Cornwall but to have your own space.

If you're looking to go wild and have something a bit out of the ordinary then the brand new Safari tent's in Wales might take your fancy. Giving you the feeling that you're in a South African reserve, the tents come complete with hot tub, large verandah, galley kitchen and woodburning stove - wow! The great thing about these tent's is that you can have them for short breaks (3 nights) or longer (7 nights)
