If you want to be in the heart of the action, it’d be hard to find a better location than this. Step outside and you’re right in the middle of St Anton’s main street, with its shops, bars and restaurants.
From tricky gullies to snow-filled bowls, St Anton’s a top pick for expert skiers. And with 305km of seamlessly connected slopes, intermediates can pack in as many kilometres as they can ski. One of the best ways to take in the area is to tackle the Run of Fame – a 65km route that starts in St Anton and ends in the resort of Warth-Schröcken, on the far side of the Arlberg.
With its onion-domed church and traditional chalets, the village has heaps of Tyrolean charm. It’s famously lively too, with lots of slopeside après spots where you can end the day dancing in your ski boots.
