If you want to be in the heart of the action, it’d be hard to find a better location than this. Step outside and you’re right in the middle of St Anton’s main street, with its shops, bars and restaurants.

From tricky gullies to snow-filled bowls, St Anton’s a top pick for expert skiers. And with 305km of seamlessly connected slopes, intermediates can pack in as many kilometres as they can ski. One of the best ways to take in the area is to tackle the Run of Fame – a 65km route that starts in St Anton and ends in the resort of Warth-Schröcken, on the far side of the Arlberg.
With its onion-domed church and traditional chalets, the village has heaps of Tyrolean charm. It’s famously lively too, with lots of slopeside après spots where you can end the day dancing in your ski boots. To keep the fun going ‘til late, head to the pedestrianised main street and spend the night hopping between the bars and pubs. A

When it comes to off-slope activities, the arl.rock sport park has got you covered. Scale the indoor and outdoor climbing walls, hit the tennis court or check out the bowling alley – then kick-back with some classic pub games in the sports bar.

The Sporthotel St Anton hotel has a traditional feel – picture panelled oak walls, chandeliers and richly patterned rugs. Soak up the stylish atmosphere with a cocktail in the bar, to the soundtrack of live piano music. And if you need some pampering after a day on the piste, head to the spa to unwind in the sauna or splash out on a massage.

Another highlight here is the mealtimes. The hotel has a reputation for serving up some of the best food in the resort, and rightly so. Kick things off with a varied buffet breakfast, then in the evenings sit down to savour some fine-dining – from local specialities to indulgent dishes like crayfish, oysters and caviar. And to sample the best steaks around, don’t miss popping into the hotel’s own steakhouse.

Subject to availability. Price based on 2 adults sharing a twin room with private shower and WC. Includes hold luggage and resort transfers.
