This bustling resort is Bulgaria's oldest established ski resort and sits amidst thick pine forests within the beautiful Rila Mountains. Borovets ski area is particularly suited to beginners, intermediates and families who will love the great value ski packages, excellent English speaking ski schools and wide, tree lined slopes. The skiing reaches up to over 2500m and snow conditions are among the best in Eastern Europe. Beginners will get the best possible start and the slopes run straight to the village. Intermediates will find a good variety of runs as well and there are some interesting diversions for experts.
