Roquetas de Mar is the main resort in Costa Almeria. A beautiful seaside town, Roquetas is a popular retreat for Spaniards and is less busy than other resorts. You can make the most of your days lounging in the sun on the wide golden sandy beach or hop in to one of the many seafront restaurants for a bite to eat and drink. For you shopaholics there are swish shopping malls and you’ll also find the odd British-style pub or two. An hour further north up the coast will bring you to the historic town of Mojácar.
