The Celebrations around Bob Marley’s Birthday usually run from the 1st to the 6th of February. Many events take place at the Bob Marley Museum in Kingston but all over the Island the first week in February sees Island-wide celebrations of the man and his music.
Popular things to do and see and unmissable experiences
The Blue Hole about 20 minutes from Ocho Rios (also known Irie Blue Hole or Secret Falls). This beautiful spot comprises the main Blue Hole which is the most stunning natural place for swimming – and then about 7 minutes’ walk away a glorious waterfall. If you want to swim here, then hire a guide – they know the best places and how to avoid the slipperiest rocks – well worth the small additional cost.
