Set amidst the spectacular scenery of the Jungfrau mountain range, with the breathtaking Eiger as their backdrop, Grindelwald with Wengen offer over 210kms of well marked pistes, with many long intermediate runs. The resort had easy access via the mountain train, gondola and cable car to the 'Jungfrau' ski region. The local area pass covers Wengen and Grindelwald, whilst the Jungfrau whole area pass covers Mürren in addition. Grindelweld is an unspoit, traffic-free mountain village with plenty of charm and character with a long tradition of hospitality and friendliness. The resort is dotted with chocolate box chalets, yet the centre has a bustling and cosmopolitan atmosphere. Non-skiers have fantastic winter walking possibilities with the non-skiers lift pass, whilst the village has numerous shops, cosy stublis and cafés.
