High in the Paznaun valley, Ischgl has developed from a traditional farming village into a bustling, popular resort. It is a compact, pretty resorts that has retained its charm. Combined with this traditional charm, there are superb hotels, boutique shops and top-class restaurants. The apres ski here is renowned for it variation with many cafes, bars and night spots. The charming village of Galtur sits at the top of the valley only a 15 minute bus ride away. The Silvretta Area lift pass gives access to 340kms of piste, amazing off-piste and some of the best snowboarding in the Alps. The area also enjoys excellent snow records until late into the season.
